Normalcy-10:Avoiding Annelids

Well, last week's hope didn't pan out, but perhaps we can do better this weekend. Maybe. In any case you guys will get that strip I owe you from two weeks ago. Also, thanks for keeping up with it despite my somewhat wacky scheduling.

As far as this strip goes, it's just something that always happens after it rains here, and pretty much anywhere really. The worms flee the water flooding their tunnels and come out on the walkways, where they are often crushed. I don't know precisely when I started ding it, but I've always tried very hard not to tread on any of them. Either out of respect for their place as gardening assistants or as fish bait. Either way I avoid crushing them, and seeing those who have been always feels slightly depressing.
